Mental Health Awareness Course
1/2 day

Creating awareness improves employee well-being and boosts productivity and engagement.

It will help increase your knowledge and understanding of mental health, including stress, recovery and stigma. It also aims to increase your confidence to begin a conversation about mental health.

 

This course is ideal for staff who are looking to gain an understanding of common mental health issues, and increase their confidence and ability to talk to people about and advocate for mental health awareness. 

participants gain valuable knowledge, skills, and insights to better understand and respond to mental health challenges. 

At the end of the course, your employees will receive a certificate of attendance to say they are Mental Health Aware, and a manual and workbook to refer back to whenever they need.

Mental Health Awareness Course Format

  • Online or face-to-face course.

  • Delivered in one half day.

  • MHFA England Instructor.

  • Covering 4 hours of content​. 

  • Mix of instructor-led training, group discussions, individual & group activities. 

  • Learners gain a basic knowledge of some  common Mental Health issues 

  • Numbers are limited to 25 per course.

  • Learners' support & safety is a priority.

  • We strive for all of our learning content to be as accessible and inclusive as possible.

As Mental Health Aware, your employees will be able to know

  • What mental health is and how to challenge stigma

  • A basic knowledge of some common mental health issues

  • An introduction to looking after your own mental health and maintaining wellbeing

  • Confidence to support someone in distress or who may be experiencing a mental health issue
