How I can Help
-
I help people and organisations have real, honest conversations about mental health, race, and inclusion. Not box-ticking. Not theory only. Real life, real impact.
-
I bring lived experience, not just qualifications. I understand what it feels like to be “the only one in the room”, to carry stress quietly, and to move through systems that don’t work for everyone. This shapes how I teach and how I hold space.
-
My sessions are practical, human, and interactive. I use active participation, group work, and guided discussions so people learn with each other, not just from me. These honest conversations are where real learning happens.
-
I create safe and brave spaces where people can ask questions, reflect, and sometimes feel challenged, without shame or judgement.
-
I explain complex topics in clear, simple language and adapt every session to the people in the room. No jargon. No one-size-fits-all.
-
I balance professionalism with warmth, and I genuinely care. This work is my purpose, and I’m fully invested in creating change that lasts.
How this helps organisations
-
It builds healthier teams. When people understand mental health and feel able to talk openly, stress is noticed earlier and support comes sooner.
-
It improves trust and communication. Honest conversations help teams work better together, reduce tension, and avoid misunderstandings.
-
It supports inclusive leadership. Managers gain confidence to handle sensitive situations with care, fairness, and empathy.
-
It reduces silence and avoidance. Difficult topics are no longer ignored. People learn how to address issues before they grow into bigger problems.
-
It increases engagement and retention. When people feel seen, respected, and supported, they are more likely to stay and do their best work.
-
It turns values into action. Many organisations talk about wellbeing and inclusion. My courses help people live those values day to day, not just on paper.
-
It creates lasting change. This is not a one-off session. The learning continues after the course, shaping behaviours, conversations, and culture over time.
I'm originally from Perú ... in South America
I started my professional journey as a tour guide and leader.
Fate had a delightful twist when I met my husband during one of my tours – he was my tourist!
After enduring a three-year long-distance relationship, we happily tied the knot. We've been living in the UK, in the lovely city of Bristol, for the past 18 years. Our family has grown, and we now cherish our time with our two amazing children. Life's journey has been quite an adventure, and I'm grateful to share a little piece of it with you!
How I landed in the mental health and DEI Field
In our wonderfully diverse world, embracing our differences isn't always straightforward, and finding where we belong can pose its own set of challenges.
Personally, as a native Spanish speaker, I've navigated through my own hurdles, and I truly understand the significance of inclusivity.
Also, I've encountered my share of mental health struggles. During those times, the confusion and uncertainty about my emotions were overwhelming. Experiencing post-natal depression with my first child and episodes of anxiety added another layer to my personal journey.
Through it all, I've come to deeply appreciate the importance of prioritising mental health and well-being. Moreover, I advocate passionately for racial equity and inclusion, recognising their essential roles in shaping a more empathetic and harmonious society.
